A day’s racing is an exciting day out for people of all ages and from all walks of life. Fakenham Racecourse prides itself on the friendly, casual atmosphere and it has no formal dress code.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome as long as they are kept on a short lead at all times. No dogs are allowed into any bars, restaurants, steppings or other indoor areas where the food and drinks are served (except assistance dogs).
The Racecourse is committed to welcoming all visitors and has dedicated accessible car-parking and viewing areas.

Situated only a 20-minute drive away, Thursford’s Christmas Spectacular has attracted over 5.8 million visitors to date and is the largest Christmas show in the country. Tickets are now on sale from November 8th through to December 22nd, 2022.
It is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End. The three-hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety.

For the third year running, a mile-long light trail returns to the parkland on the King’s Sandringham Estate.
Situated just over a 30-minute drive away from us, the trail through Sandringham Country Park has special effects, music, and interactive installations in addition to the lights. While Luminate Sandringham happens during the holiday season, it is not Christmas-themed. It is more of an enchanted forest experience with roasted marshmallows
Entry to the mile-long trail, which takes around 45 minutes to complete, is from 4.45pm until 8pm. Tickets must be pre-booked online in advance, to find out more please follow the link below.
